Job Description:

As a Contract Manager, you will be responsible for managing the contract once it has been signed.

Our client is involved in large-scale, international projects in the field of sustainable energy.

Your main tasks will include:

• Reading and analyzing the contract and other project documents
• Conducting a thorough and complete review of the contract
• Developing strategies from the start to address specific clauses (contractual risk analysis)
• Monitoring contractual obligations of projects and providing advice to the project team
• Identifying and assessing potential variations and claims
• Proactively anticipating contractual deviations and opportunities
• Providing advice to the Project Manager
• Attending both internal and external meetings
• Participating in negotiations with clients, suppliers, and contractors, and supporting the drafting of contracts
• Working alongside the Project Manager to ensure the successful completion of the project

Profile:

• Master’s degree in Law, preferably with a specialization in International and European Law
• Experience as a Corporate Lawyer, Attorney, or Contract Manager
• Commercial and strategic thinking and approach
• Strong interest in a technical project environment
• Excellent command of English; good knowledge of Dutch is a plus
